About Oscar Garner Jr.
I’m Oscar Garner Jr., and I am excited to announce my candidacy for Bloomfield Township Trustee. With 18 years as a Bloomfield Township resident and currently serving as an elected Bloomfield Township Precinct Delegate, I bring a deep-rooted commitment to our community. I’m also a proud father of two wonderful sons, both Bloomfield Hills High school graduates.
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Business with a Concentration in Finance, complemented by extensive experience in establishing processes and procedures, conducting budget reviews, and managing multi-million dollar budgets.
As an Automotive Industry Engineer and Quality professional, I bring close to 30 years of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. This experience has taught me the value of setting aside differences, incorporating togetherness, and trusting in the people. I believe this provides me with a comprehensive understanding of our township's needs and challenges.
My vision for Bloomfield Township revolves around fostering togetherness and operating in what’s best for the residents. I am committed to promoting initiatives that enhance our community's well-being and prosperity.
I am running for Trustee because I believe in Bloomfield Township and the opportunity to serve, lead, and contribute to the betterment of our community. Together, let's work towards building a stronger and more vibrant Bloomfield Township.
